Senior Jazlynn Shearer accounted for all 38 of Silver Creek's points, resulting in a second-place tie with San Lorenzo Valley at the CIF Central Coast Section Championships at Gilroy High in Gilroy, Calif. Shearer won the 100-meter hurdles in 13.86 seconds, captured the long jump with a leap of 18-9 (5.71m), prevailed in the triple jump with an effort of 38-8.50 (11.79m) and took second in the 100-meter dash in 12.18 seconds.
